Glenwood Cemetery is dope, unless you’re scared of cool old cemeteries. Then I wouldn’t recommend it. Glenwood Cemetery has been open since 1872 and is the final resting place of some of the most notable Houstonians our city has ever known. In addition to the cool 18th century design, Glenwood sits on a beautiful landscape stretching down through ravines to Buffalo Bayou Park.
Glenwood is free to visit for anyone that wants to go check it out, additionally, Glenwood provides guided walking tours for a small fee.
